Blog Make Over

This blog needs a new face, new theme and new lay-out. I am quite bored of how this blog looks because this has been its appearance for over two years now I guess. But I need a lot of time to do that and I need the internet connection at home so I can do the tinkering during late night hours. Hopefully the internet and the phone will be installed this week.

For the meantime, I am also thinking of getting this blog a domain of its own. Well, it has been hosted by blogspot since the day it was born and I am quite happy with that but we can’t avoid changes right?

I am seriously considering buying a new domain and have it hosted somewhere. I knew a lot of website hosting company out there but I am also aware of the many problems that crop up from time to time especially during maintenance period. I even read some posts about losing their blogs and making them oh so worried about it. Now I don’t want to deal with that.

Webhostinggeeks.com is really a big help. Looking at the available hosting company listed there will let you be able to choose the best that will fit you. If you are budget conscious like me it will be best to take a look at their site so you can compare prices. And I do encourage you to go and read more on their blog posts because you can also get a lot of tips on blogging and maintaining a site there.

Sometimes I do feel it is hard to maintain three blogs but when you know you are getting compensated with your work. It’s worth all the effort.

Time to renew

I recently received two separate e-mails saying I am due to renew my domain soon. How time flies. I thought it was only a month ago when I decided to buy my own domain but yes it has been a year. Do I have regret for buying such? No. I am happy and satisfied so I renewed both. As long as I am blogging I will have that domain name under me.

But it doesn’t mean I automatically renewed them. Before I did that, I made a sort of research on webhosting and domain hosting just so I would know I am doing the right thing. Good thing there is this site where you can compare and made a thorough review of different web hosting. Web Hosting Geeks is one of them. I always find helpful tips about web hosting in their blog.

So if you are looking for a web hosting service, a visit to their site is worth it. See for yourself the top ten best web hosts for 2009, study the pros and cons then decide for what you think is the best for you. You can even get it under $10 which is really cheap and whatever money you spend on it, I’m sure you’ll also say it’s worth it.

New Domain Name

I’m thinking of buying a new domain name but I do not know where to host it. As you know, I already have three personal blogs abut I want one for our church. Two of my blogs has its own domain name and so far I’m quite happy about the way it is going. I’ve been blogging for years now and I can say I already have experience the ups and downs of it but I still do not consider my self an expert in this field, though I have already influence some friends to go and try blogging and so far I can see that they are enjoying it.

Now, in my search for a good web hosting site and the best in multiple domain hosting. I came across webhosting geeks.com. This site offer good reviews about different web hosts. You can see there for your self the top ten best hosting, the cheapest and the largest web hosting site. So if you’re thinking of having your own domain like me, or even considering a premium domain, I suggest a visit to their site is a must so you’ll have an idea what is best for you. A good web host is necessary if you want to be successful in putting up your site.

September and still learning

Good morning everyone! It’s Monday and it’s the first day of the month, geesh, how time flies! It’s already September and it will be Christmas soon, as a matter of fact I already heard someone counting the days before Christmas,

I’ve been planning to change my template since July but as you can see it’s still the same until now.

If you are a regular reader of my blog, then you know by now that I am not a techie girl, until now am not that familiar with html codes and the like, that’s why I have not been successful in changing the template of my blogs, but of course not being a techie girl doesn’t mean you cannot have the best there is in the internet world. This blog has been up since 2006 and I am now thinking of hosting this on my own. A month ago, I bought a domain and moved my other blog there so far its doing good and fine.

I’m currently reading about web hosting tutorials and learning the ropes of having multiple domains. It is not as easy as one –two-three but I’m getting by. There are lots of sites who offer such tutorials like the webhostingrating.com. I learn from them about different web hosting site, those whom you really can trust because they offer web hosting rating too, so you’ll have an idea what web host fits for you and for your budget.

You can also see some
web hosting awards like the best blog hosting or best budget hosting and the like
. If you’re very new to blogging world and you want to have your own domain and secure a good web host, a visit in their site will help you a lot. And it is always safe to be informed especially if you're not familiar with what you are venturing to.

For the meantime, I’ll go and do my morning hops in your sites today while reading and learning about templates and web host at the same time.

Happy blogging people!
