This is my husband's favorite dinner. I tell you, if he could have this everyday, he would! and it has become my favorite too because this meal is so easy to prepare, whenever we are starving and we need a quick nice dinner, we resort to this most of the time.
This is how I made this :
Season your pork with salt and pepper
Melt butter in a pan
Fry your pork until the desire tenderness (mine is less than 15 minutes)
I would then steam the beans in the same pan. Easy!!

I'm cooking!
I noticed I’ve been cooking since last week. I actually took notice of it last night. Although most of the foods I cook are only ordinary menus I am still amazed that I am cooking on ra egular basis now. So far I’ve tried Fried Chicken (the one I learned from Malaysia), Buttered Baguio beans, Sinigang na bangus, Fried dalagang bukid and sautéed mongo sprouts and baked Tilapya. Next week I will try to learn more menus, as of now I am enjoying being in the kitchen but I do not know how long will this last. For a girl like me who doesn’t even know how to cook rice, being in charge with the kitchen is something different.
I am now also dreaming of a bigger kitchen, a well organized spice rack, complete kitchen utensils and all. I would also love to have modern dining tables and chairs. I’m sure we will enjoy every dining moment. I just hope I’ll still enjoy cooking by then. Because you know it’s very tiring especially for someone like me.
Do you have any easy to cook recipes that I can try?

I.will.cook.
They say the wife or the mom is always the “reyna ng kusina” (queen of the kitchen) but it is not in my case. I have been a wife for four years now and I can’t even say I know the kitchen too well. Sometimes I don’t even know where the condiments are. So you can tell I don’t know much about kitchen wares, I do not know if it is a good brand or not, if it is better if you use all clad copper core or metal kitchen wares.
Don’t get me wrong though because there are times that I do love to cook. Only those times are very rare. And I am proud that since I got married I learned a lot already, some are simple menus some are complicated but I am learning.
In fact I feel like I want to cook something new this week :)

Guess what I'm doing
right at this very hour, except for blogging and dropping entrecard....
I'm cooking two whole chicken!! yup! it's in the turbo right now and probably won't be ready until 3:30 AM. Shucks that would mean I'm totally deprived of sleep tonight as we are leaving at 5 AM.
Where are we headed? To a private resort in Pansol, Laguna for our music ministry team much needed retreat.
I wish I would be able to reflect and participate well tomorrow. I'll sleep na lang on the way.

TEXAS GULF SHRIMP
I always enjoy seafood, thank God that both me and hubby are free from any food allergies so we can always eat all the seafood that we want. There is this place in our place where you can buy fresh seafood and then besides it are rows of restaurants where you can give them what you bought and they will cook it for you, you just tell them how you like it to be done. We go to this place on several occasions, usually when we celebrate someone’s birthday and yes I can tell you it is one of our favorites. The food always tastes best when it is cook while it is still fresh.
I love big shrimp in particular and I want to have a taste of this shrimp recipe. This delicious shrimp recipe is from Texas thus the name of the recipe, Chef Mark Holley created it. I like that he also used tomatoes in it. I could even smell the combination of ingredients he used. Look at the picture, isn’t it delicious?
You can take a look of the complete recipe at the www.GreatAmericanSeafoodCookOff.com. It’s the great cook off contest where great chefs create great recipes.
