7.6 magnitude earthquake in Samar

According to USGS (US Geological Survey) at 8:45 PM (Friday, August 31) a 7.6 magnitude earthquake hit 139 km east od Sulangan, Samar.

A tsunami alert was issued after but has been lifted (Praise the Lord!) at 12:10 AM Saturday. As I type this, one dead and one injured has been reported.

PLEASE PRAY that there will be no more casualties and that the people in that region will be safe. The Philippines has been up to tragedies lately and we don't need another one so soon.
