And what a start of new year was for me..my last week of 2007 became so very unordinary..lot of stuff happened and of course just for the record..will write it down here..

Dec. 26 Wednesday- TO MARIA AURORA

A day after Christmas, meaning I’m still at the province (Nueva Ecija) we spent Christmas there and was kinda sad kasi first time naming hindi buo ang family, it’s only me and my husband who went home, I tagged along four of my pamangkins para kahit papano may maingay naman sa house naming, we used to spend Christmas together, all of my siblings and my parents pero this year was different..

So yun na nga, a day after Christmas, friends from makati arrived at around 4pm- we are scheduled to go to mountains of Maria Aurora, Aurora province. So we left at around 6pm na and got there at aroind mga 8:30 PM. Grabe ang biyahe naming..super kawawa ang sasakyan kasi maulan so maputik at talagang matarik yung ibang road..

Dec. 27- Thursday – SENATOR ANGARA’S RESTHOUSE

Kahit maulan, napilitan kaming lumabas ng bahay, we went to Sen. Angara’s rest house na ginagawa pa lang..tawag nila “palace in the sky” know why? Kasi as in nasa super tuktok ng bundok..sobrang taas..at siempre nahirapan ako umakyat..pero once there..ang ganda..ang sarap ng feeling..you see mountains around you..feeling so close sa mga clouds and you can even see pacific ocean..haay! saying..kasi we forgot the video and the camera..kasalanan ko kasi.. and the resthouse is private pala..nagkataon lang na may house ang mga relatives ko dun so nakakapunta sila.

Maria Aurora is so beautiful, so green..wag sana maging masyado commercialized sa mga gagawing modernization…

Dec 28- Friday – A DAY BEFORE CHELLE’S WEDDING

We went home na to Nueva Ecija and my friends naman deretso na sa Makati..medyo busy na s ahouse kasi my closest cousin michelle is getting married on the 29th..and you know pag sa province ang kasal..it’s so different..the day before pa lang busy na kasi magkakatay ng baboy and all. For me,start na to ng sleepless nights ko..went to and fro sa resort na venue ng wedding then help then ako sa pag hiwa at pag prepare ng mga menu.


Dec 29. – Saturday –DAX AND MICHELLE’S BIG BIG DAY!!!

MICHELLE”s wedding!!!

SObrang maaga ako nagising kahit 5pm pa ang kasal, went early uli dun sa venue to check yung nag se-set up..then back home,tulong ulit sa mga nagluluto, ako nag luto ng buttered vegetable na parang hindi ko yata nakita..

And at 3:00 nasa venue na ko (Villa VAlentina Resort,Llanera Nueva Ecija)
Di pa tapos mag set up yung caterer pero ok naman,tumulong pa kami ni hubby at ang sound system naku! Pnasakit ang ulo ng asawa ko as in tagaktak ang pawis nya..super sensitive pa naman si Pastor Gani sa sound system..

Nag start ang wedding ng mga 6PM, nakalagay s ainvites is 5pm..understandable naman kasi yung mommy ni Dax (groom) ay na high blood so she has to rest pa and of course we waited for her..

Ang ganda ng setting,yung pina ka aisle na ginawa naming ay sa bridge ng pool..Our Pastor commnted nga na it’s beautiful daw lalo na nung natutukan yung bride ng spotlight while walking..tamang tama kasi padilim na talaga nun..

Saying nga lang na di masyado expressive ang mga ikinasal..at medyp patawa silang dalawa..pero okay naman…may iyakan portion din siempre pagdating sa honoring of parents.

Super nerbiyos nga sila tito at tita warly kasi first time nila..at ayaw nila mag speech pero walang nagawa si tita warly nang tawagan ko sha sa reception..
Ako din po ang nag emcee-kinaya lahat ng powers ko yun.

Mga past 9Pm tapos na pati reception..may mga naiwan sa resort,kwentuhan tapos yung iba videoke,may nag inuman din yata..at may nag swimming din..

Kami ni dolf went home straight from the resort to Makati,hinatid kami ni Makoy sa cabanatuan (thanks mc!) dumating kami at around 2:30 AM sa house.


Dec. 30- Sunday – CHURCH AND CARMEL IS SICK!!

Sad na walang reliever si dolf as worship leader sa church, if meron lang sana nag stay pa kami sa province..so kahit umaga na akmi natulog,dolf has to wake up early pa rin for church preparation,din na nga nakapag practice ang band..

After church, we rushed Carmel to De Ocampo,kasi she was really in pain na,left her in the morning na masakit ang tiyan,sabi nya,she’ll rest lang daw,pero patapos na yung church service when Andrew texted us na dadalin na sa hospital..so we did, after ng lab test,pinauwi na rin kami,so far ok naman,mababa ang WBC so negative sa appendicitis..pero observe daw..if tuloy tuloy ang pain..

Nung gabi, masakit pa rin daw as in masakit so we rushed her again sa hospital, pero this time, we brough her to Ospital ng Makati-which I think was wrong move,dapat binalik na alng naming sha sa de Ocampo..pero….

Dito sa Osmak.. A doctor injected novaine for pain..and then after few hours dahil masakit pa rin,they took several lab test again, CBC with platelet count and urinalysis..normal naman nag CBC nya pero may nakitang pus sa urne, so the doctor prescribe some antibiotics and tramadol for pain…

We were sent home na din…mga 5 Am na ng 31 Dec yata kami nakauwi..


DEC.31 –MONDAY – CAVITE

At around 9 am, went to Ate’s house sa Paco,wala daw magbabantay sa 2 pamangkin ko so off we went kahit super walang tulog ako,ok lang si dolf kasi nung nasa hospital kmai natulog naman sila sa Van..ako..dilat talaga magdamag…

Mga 5 pm, went to CAvite na to spend New year’s eve with my hubby’s family. Dumating kami mga 7pm..naka motor lang kami..medyo scary nga kasi may mga nagpapaputok na..

Kumain kami ng kumain…at natulog ako mga past 1 AM..


JAN.01 –WEDNESDAY – CARMEL IS STILL IN PAIN

We went back early sa manila, kasi may mga ibang schedule pa kami…nag rest lang kami ng kaunti sa house…I visited Carmel in her room and I noticed she did not look any better, by now naka 2 antibiotics na sha pero pale pa rin sha at may pain pa rin daw..we advise her to drink more water knowing na UTI ang findings sa kanya..pero I notice medyo bloated sha..at matigas ang tiyan nya..

And then I left her again..punta uli kami sa Paco..we watched Enteng Kabisote 4 with my sis and 2 pamangkin..

Mga 9 PM na kami nakauwi..

Upon reaching home, pinatawag agad ako ni Carmel and she said she couldn’t take the pain na and she’s bloated na talaga..so we rushed her again, this time we want to make sure so Ate Rose decided to bring her na sa San Juan de Dios, which I think was a good decision naman kahit na super mahal sa ospital na ito..
Doctors immediately attended to her, nilagayn agad ng IV dahil dehydrated na daw sha..and asked her a lot of questions,took some lab test again..and then the announcement na she has to go under operation..

We prayed..and I cried..and we prayed again..

And then I went home at around 7:30 Am January 2 sleepless and exhausted
And yet…pumasok pa rin ako that day..

And to cut the looong story short, she was operated and doctors saw na ruptured appendicitis..medyo iba lang yung case kasi nga di nakikita sa lab test..so parang exploratory surgery yata ang ginawa sa kanya…

She’s still in the hospital..recuperating..we are still praying for her speedy recovery.

What a week no? super sa over na wala akong tulog..so nung Jnauray 2 ng gabi 9 pm pa alng wala na akong kamalay-malay sa mundo..as in tulog na tulog na ako..nagising ako 8 Am na ng morning..

ay sobrang haba na yata kwento ko...sabi ko naman sa inyo LONG READ di ba?
