I know I just posted a quote saying "never give up" but right now I'm feeling the exact opposite, well at least it only refers to my day job. You see, I've been here for 10 years and 4 months now and I don't think I still have the same energy and the same enthusiasm like before. I do like my boss (although he is the most unlikable person in our office) and his family because they've treated me well and good but sometimes my work becomes a burden already and if not for our financial need that increases every year I could have left this job years ago pa.
That feeling of giving up this job is so strong again that I find it hard to wake up and go to office each morning. It is so frustrating but I am left with no choice- until probably next year when I'm done with the down payment of our lot :) Probably then I could resign and do other things I like.
That's 14 more months to go and I pray it can be earlier but if not I'll patiently wait for 14 months more.
You'll wait because you want your home someday and you've got to pay for the lot. You can do this. Just focus on what that lot means to you and those 14 months will be far easier to do.
