YESTERDAY, I was too tired, office work has consumed all my energies ( as usual) due to many deadlines and all. Going home, I was thinking of just dropping by to nearest canteen or fast food house and have our dinner there. But I realized that would be extra expenses and we don't need that right now.
Guess what? my husband volunteered to make the dinner himself! I was jumping up and down (okay, that's exaggerated-I don't have the energy di ba?) but I was happy.
So when we got home, he took the chicken out of the fridge,ask me few things on what to add and how much salt and spices, he arranged everything in the baking pan or bowl, whatever you call it, (that makes me sound like I really don't know anything in the kitchen) and then settled it in the oven- viola!! after 30 minutes, he's done and we had tasty chicken for dinner. I ask him to take photos and he did but I left it at home.(will post later)
He's one proud husband now and I'm one happy wife. At least I know it's not only about gadgets, motorbikes, cars and accessories like weather floor mats he's interested. He can cook too!!
My husband does all the cooking here. I do all the cleanup. He loves to cook and he's much better at it than I am. Works for me. I'm glad you are both happy.
