A flood and a funeral



Much as I don't want to soak my feet in the flood water ( am so afraid of leptospirosis) but we did  last Saturday for a cousin's funeral.

If you notice, almost everyone is wearing shorts and shirt, no one wore a dress and Stetson Fedora Hats. In other countries I know people wear these beautiful hats on funerals and weddings, I wish we are a hat country :) 


 Anyways, good thing the recent storm didn't bring more rain. We were relieved and according to my cousins, there is no more flood water in their area :)

    I don't wear hats, but many do here. I'm just not a hat person.

    I'm glad the water is receding and I'm sorry about the passing of your cousin.
